Blood, bloodier, The Boys. At least that was the standard for superhero action until Invincible on Amazon Prime pulverized it for many fans. After two years of endless waiting The animated series by comic genius Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) is finally returning.

Invincible Season 2 premieres on November 3, 2023 starts on Amazon Prime Video. It starts around two and a half years after season 1. It will contain eight episodes that will be published weekly.

Invincible revolves around teenager Mark Grayson (voice: Steven Yeun), for whom acne and broken voice are the least of his problems. He is secretly the son of the famous superhero Omni-Man (JK Simmons). When supernatural powers manifested themselves in Mark, his old man reveals to him a bloody new world.
If you like your superheroes brutal, you’ll have a hard time deciding between The Boys and Invincible. Real actors may seem more disturbing in some cases. An animated series can do that consume more fake blood than their live-action counterparts ever dream of spending.
