That’s what the fantasy series starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant is all about
The storyline of Good Omens begins in 2018: the apocalypse is approaching and mankind is faced with the Last Judgment. Two characters are skeptical about the upcoming developments: the terrified angel Erziraphael (Michael Sheen) and the fast-paced demon Crowley (David Tennant). Both have lived among the people of the earth for a long time. Now they can’t let them attack each other to amuse the gods.
Season 1 of the series was based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Season 2 is based on a story draft that the two writers developed before Pratchett’s death – but which was never written down. Season 2 picks up as the two supernatural heroes go about their daily lives in London and are confronted with a surprising discovery.
Then Good Omens returns on Amazon Prime Video
Good Omens Season 2 will from July 28 with an Amazon Prime Video subscription ready to stream.
The fantasy series’ other cast members include Mad Men star Jon Hamm, Smack the Pony creator Doon Mackichan, Dune star Gloria Obianyo and Harry Potter reporter Miranda Richardson.
