Amazon hit Culpa Mia continues and Culpa Tuya is scheduled

TikTok now regularly ensures that a film becomes a mass phenomenon. This is what happened to the Spanish novel adaptation Culpa Mia – My Fault last year, after the book by author Mercedes Ron sparked a hype on the social network.

Since the novels come in a total of three volumes, known as the Culpables trilogy, a Film sequel to the first Culpa Mia part announced. Even though the date has not yet been set, an approximate release date for the sequel Culpa Tuya – Your Guilt is known.

In the adaptation’s plot, Noah (Nicole Wallace) has to leave her previous life behind and move to California to be with her mother because she is newly married. In her rich stepfather’s villa, she meets her stepbrother Nick (Gabriel Guevara), whom she immediately hates. However, the arrogant pretty boy leads a dangerous double life between gang crime and wild parties – and soon Noah can resist Nick less and less.

The film by director Domingo González has clearly benefited from the hype surrounding the book series. According to Amazon, Culpa Mia landed on Prime on June 8, 2023 after its worldwide streaming release in the top 10 in over 190 countries.

Therefore, it was hardly surprising that Amazon’s press release in July 2023 announced that not only a second but also a third part had been ordered.

When does the Culpa Mia sequel Culpa Tuya start on Amazon Prime?

According to Advanced Television, the sequel Culpa Tuya will be released in December 2024 to Amazon Prime Video. The exact date has not yet been officially announced.

In the sequel, the love between Noah and Nick is put to the test as both enter student and professional life and suddenly an ex-girlfriend appears who wants revenge on Nick.
