Amazon extends thriller series with Marvel star and orders prequel

Chris Pratt has starred in several of the biggest films of the past decade. In the Jurassic World series he tames raptors. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe he drums for the Guardians of the Galaxy together. Last year he returned to his roots and published a series: The Terminal List on Amazon Prime.

Pratt became famous through the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, which aired from 2009 to 2015. His return to the world of serials is heavily influenced by his status as a blockbuster star. The terminal list is a action-packed thrillerwhich tells of Navy SEAL James Reece and a great conspiracy.

When, how and if the story will continue after the first season was unclear for a long time. Amazon let Pratt fidget for half a year. As Variety reports, The Terminal List will now expanded on a large scale. In addition to a second season, a prequel series was ordered, which revolves around Taylor Kitsch’s CIA agent Ben Edwards.

The history of The Terminal List goes back to the novel of the same name back from Jack Carr. The series was developed by David DiGilio.
