During Friday, a heavy fire broke out in an apartment building in central Landvetter. All residents of the house were evacuated and shops in the area were forced to close.
Living in a hotel – “feels like crap”
Many apartments have suffered smoke and moisture damage, and the upper floor is completely destroyed. Aly Alhashimi is one of those who live in the property. The day after the fire, he and his family have been staying in a hotel, and it is very uncertain when they will be able to move home.
How does it feel to stand here and see what happened to your home?
– It feels bad, it feels terrible. I really didn’t think this would happen to us, says Aly Alhashimi.
