Älvsby chairman on the LVU criticism: “Trying to make me appear like a criminal”

After the many tours around the controversial LVU case in Älvsbyn, voices have begun to rise that the chairman of the social committee, Peter Lundberg (KD, should resign.

The harshest criticism has been from the social democratic side, where both Riksdag member Linus Sköld and the local politicians have expressed sharp criticism.

“Don’t understand the criticism”

However, Peter Lundberg believes that he will not leave his post and also does not agree with the criticism that has been directed at him.

– I don’t really understand that criticism. What I have done is initiate an external review which has found very serious deficiencies in the business and I don’t see what would be wrong with that.

Feels that he was exposed to drivel

Lundberg is also critical of what he experiences as a drive against him and his character.

– I think it is very unfortunate that the social democrats in Älvsbyn continue the drive they are doing. The fact that they hang me out in a way and try to make me appear like some kind of criminal, I think that is very unfortunate.

In the clip, you can hear Lundberg’s response to the criticism and the demand for resignation.
