Alvar Myhlback, 18, is Sweden’s new big skiing talent.

– He hasn’t become the best in the world. It’s no Kläbo, says Alvar then.

In the episode with Myhlback, Kücükaslan is a bit nasty to the youngster. He claims that Alvar will take over William Poromaas place as Sweden’s best men’s skater shortly.
– You will save Swedish men’s cross-country skiing before William Poromaa has time to say “Messiah”?, says the presenter.
Alvar’s slip against William Poromaa
When Alvar Myhlback hears the claim, he first becomes a little thoughtful.
– It is difficult to say yes or no to that. He is already… Salvation, is it to be the best in the world?, he asks back.
– Yes, but has he saved the men’s rowing then?, Johan Kücükaslan answers.
Myhlback thinks a little more and starts to answer. In the middle of his reasoning, however, it feels like he realizes that Poromaa, despite his WC bronze in the five-mile in Planica 2023, has not reached his full potential.
– In a way, he has done it a little. He hasn’t become the best in the world. It’s no Kläbo, he says.
– No, and things go fast in this industry, so soon he will… You will get that… You already have the epithet that you will save cross-country skiing, says Kücükaslan and gets a nod from Alvar.

Finally, Johan Kücükaslan gets the answer he’s been waiting for all along.
– So it will be a yes?, he asks.
– Yes, I’ll say yes then, says Alvar and laughs a little.
– William can take that. He doesn’t get mad. He gets mad at me, not at you, assures Kücükaslan.
