This is what emerges from the new hi-tech Observatory of Altroconsumo, a monitoring result of tests carried out throughout 2023 on mobile networks through users of CheBanda, Altroconsumo’s free social app. Vodafone reaches 58,649 points, a score that testifies to the concrete user experience of users and which combines download and upload speed with the quality of the service. Vodafone is in second and third place, separated from first place Tim (38,651 points) e Fastweb (36,299).
Vodafone has the fastest network with an average download speed of 63.1 Mbps per download in 4G and 183.0 Mbps in 5G. Altroconsumo’s survey on the performance of operators telephony mobile was conducted thanks to over 16,300 users of the CheBanda app which allows you to measure the quality of your operator’s mobile network. The contribution of consumers made it possible to evaluate a series of parameters such as download and upload speed, the quality of navigation as a whole, the quality of videos in streaming. Among the novelties of this survey, 5G technology has been integrated into the overall evaluation of the best mobile connection experience.
