This Dreamworks animated film to watch with the family won over critics and the public who were able to discover it before its release this Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Want to have a little cinema with the family? One of the cinema outings this Wednesday October 9 has everything to please children and their parents. The wild robot is a animated film from the Dreamworks studios, to whom we owe sagas like Shrek, Dragons Or Kung Fu Panda. Directed by Chris Sanders (Call of the Wild, Lilo and Stitch, Dragons), this feature film follows a robot stranded on a desert island, who will learn to adapt to the environment around him by forming relationships with different local animals.
Released just before the All Saints’ Day holidays, The wild robot has already won over the few spectators who were able to see it in theaters, since the film received a spectator rating of 4.4/5 on Allociné (with 93 ratings). The press is more measured but overall won over, with a score of 3.6/5: Le Figaro praises “a splendid ecological fable which will delight young and old”, while Le Parisien praises the aesthetics of the film, “graphically prodigious”, in a film which “is distinguished by the generosity of its subject and the great originality of its scenario”.
Same story from Télé Loisirs which judges that it is “impossible to be bored watching this touching film punctuated with humor” thanks to “a gallery of characters as funny as they are endearing” (Première). Parents and their children can therefore go and discover this new gem from this animation studio which has nothing to envy of the Disney juggernaut!
