Alpine: Lindsey Vonn makes World Cup comeback with the flu: “Don’t let it hinder me”

It is tomorrow Thursday that Vonn will make the World Cup comeback six years after the bronze in the downhill 2019-the season she quit.

Now it’s time again with Super-G in Saalbach, Austria. Vonn has starting number 30. And the upload could have been better. American has posted a picture on Instagram wearing an inhaler:

“I have a real cold or flu but don’t worry, I wouldn’t let such a stop me from competing after everything I have gone through to come here,” Vonn writes and adds:

“I guess the competition person remains in me”.

Vonn trained today in the downhill track and had 29th best time – 3.13 after Mirjam Puchner which was the fastest.
