(Finance) – The Management Board of Alperiaan energy company from Bolzano, has decided to proceed with the study and preparatory activities for one potential new bond issue to be allocated not only to qualified Italian and foreign investors but – exclusively in Italy – also to general public. The bond loan in question could have an amount between 100 million and 250 million euros and a duration of between 5 and 7 years. The minimum denomination of each bond will be one thousand euros.
In the event that the study and preparatory activities, supported by Banca Akros ed Equita SIM as well as by the independent advisor Ethica Debt Advisory, are successful, the issue will be submitted to the approval of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Alperia. The placement of any new issue could presumably take place between the end of May and the beginning of June, if suitable market conditions exist.
In the same meeting, the Alperia Management Board approved the projects balance relating to the 2023 financial year of the company and the Group.
THE revenues Group totals stood at approximately 2.7 billion euros, down compared to last year (-25%), affected above all by the notable reduction in the prices of energy commodities which occurred during 2023.Normalized EBITDA it amounted to 327.6 million euros, compared to 272 million in 2022; however, the comparison between the two years is not homogeneous, as the 2023 data is affected by the change in the consolidation scope. L’Net incomeequal to 84.2 million euros, was an increase compared to the 2022 value, equal to 60.8 million euros, despite discounting the 2023 budget by an amount of 18 million euros as an extraordinary solidarity contribution arranged from the 2023 finance law, in addition to that already allocated in the previous budget (6.5 million euros).
