Real Madrid won in Malaga after three straight defeats in the league, but the victory may have taken one of their players ahead. Carlos Alocén left the court in the last minutes of the third quarter after a play in which he only supported his leg in such a way that he ended up bending unnaturally, threatening a possible ligament or meniscus injury.
The play in question occurred when the point guard tried to drive to the basket, collided with his defender and, upon stepping on the ground, the knee bent completely. As soon as he fell, the white player dragged himself along the track until he left it with clear gestures of pain.
Once he was off the field he began to hit the ground with his fist while holding his knee. The technical services of the white club came immediately, and after a few seconds talking with him and inspecting the area of the injury, they got him up and helped him go to the locker room, since Alocén was unable to support his left leg. The player left in tears.
