Almería closes its crisis

Almeria closes its crisis

Sadiq returned to Almería’s eleven and Rubi’s team won again. His absence has been a burden that the rojiblanco team has not been able to recover from. With him in the field, Almería is another. Especially in attack, where he shows off claws and scares. The Nigerian and Ramazani were the undisputed leaders of an Almería that gave Ibiza a good account, which they clearly surpassed during the last hour of the match. The local victory, however, was not without suffering or controversy.

Ibiza protested and much the two penalties against which Moreno Aragón pointed out, both very debatable. The second of them, wasted by Ramazani, led to the expulsion of Gálvez. But before the maximum penalties put the clash in the face of the Indálicos, Almería had plenty of chances to resolve the clash. His fateful month of January (one point out of 15) weighed on him like a slab of exit to Almería. Rubi’s team took more than half an hour to loosen up and start showing off some of their virtues. And it was his two stilettos, Ramazani and Sadiq, who stretched the team with various combinations that disturbed the Ibiza defense. One of Ramazani’s classic drives ended with Samu Costa against Álex Domínguez, but the Portuguese did not handle his right foot with the same precision as his left foot and his shot crashed into the visiting goal.

Until then the match had had Ibiza as the only protagonist. Without precision or overflow near the red and white area, but with a pressure that had Rubi’s men handcuffed for many minutes. Once released, not even the break, in which Rubi was sent off, stopped Almería’s momentum. 90 seconds after the match resumed, Fernando took out the pen and left Sadiq hand in hand against Álex Domínguez, who became a giant again and won the duel against the ‘9’ Atletico. Ramazani, in minute 54, was also face to face with Domínguez, who this time he managed to overcome. But Goldar appeared to avoid the goal.

Local insistence, however, was rewarded. In his only mole of the night, Domínguez did not block a long shot from Akieme and in the dispute over the rebound with Sadiq, the referee awarded a penalty. A questionable decision. But the interpretation and the contact prevented the VAR from entering the scene. Ramazani defined with great class and put Almería ahead.

Paco Jémez reacted immediately and shook the tree with a triple change that improved his team. Almería took a step back to try to save essential loot to reset and regain confidence. He was able to settle the match and avoid any shock again from the penalty spot in a debatable decision again. Sadiq put his body between Gálvez and the ball and there was contact, but the centre-back, who had seen a yellow card a minute earlier for protesting, ended up taking the ball out. Moreno Aragón did not hesitate and Gálvez received the double punishment: penalty and second yellow card.

Ramazani repeated the fate of the launch and Álex Domínguez won the game. The rejection fell to Eguaras, but his shot went up. Ibiza, even with ten, did not give up and kept their rival nervous. But his push only gave him to generate several set pieces that Almería countered without problems. Sadiq, already in stoppage time, closed the match on the counterattack with a great individual action. The victory frees Almería and stops the Jémez effect, which adds up to his first defeat as a Balearic coach.
