Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The change in the law is a strategy to stop unscrupulous for-profit accommodation, but the non-profit accommodation runs the risk of having to close down as a result of demands for employees around the clock.

– The regulation itself is very good, we have lots of private actors who run sheltered housing today completely unregulated. But the permit obligation that is underway will be devastating for us as a non-profit women’s shelter. It will place demands on us that we can never achieve, says Alla Kvinnors Hus director of operations Gunsan Lundqvist Karlsson.

Link between authorities and women

– We expect that we will come into contact with approximately 300 new support applicants each year. Then there are women who come to us for a longer period of time, she says and continues:

– Today, the social debate is with us in a different way. We talk a lot about these issues, but there is nothing to indicate that violence in intimate relationships will decrease, unfortunately.
