In the oppressive French summer heat, Jaroslava Mahutjich, who took gold at the Indoor World Championships in Belgrade earlier this year, was the strongest. Mahujitch won at 2.01 meters, new season best outdoors.
The 20-year-old also tried again for personal best but failed with all three attempts at 2.05.
With her on the podium, she got two compatriots: Iryna Gerashchenko (1.98) and Yulija Levchenko (1.95).
