Many households will see a very useful aid evaporate.
This seems barely believable. Money fallen from the sky that ends … by disappearing. While the number 1 concern of the French remains the budget, such a story seems unthinkable. However, it is very real.
Several months ago, around one million French people received precious financial aid, ranging from 48 to 277 euros depending on the income. On average, 149 euros arrived in the mailboxes (or e-mail), without doing anything. An automatic payment which may however evaporate because of the deception of beneficiaries.
This aid, the French concerned touched him as the energy check. Supposed to reduce the cost of electricity, gas and other bills for the most deprived, it was not used by part of the households. And the latter will see her disappear in a few days.
Indeed, the validity of the energy checks collected in the spring of 2024 stops this evening on Monday, March 31 in the evening. After this date, it will no longer be possible to use this money. The affected help will therefore be lost and will no longer be usable since the number corresponding to the check will become a decu. Since the shipments -ephated between April 2 and May 15, a million beneficiaries have always used them, according to figures communicated by the Ministry of the Economy.
Among the 5.6 million French people who received this aid, this represents almost 20% of non-use. A particularly high but similar rate from one year to the next, as indicated by the annual figures of the Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics Department (DREES).
The French who can perceive this aid are those whose income is particularly low. For example, a person living alone or with a child, working part -time and receiving only 1000 euros net of salary per month, can claim 63 euros of aid. In addition, a single person in the RSA and not receiving any other income can receive 194 euros. On the other hand, an employee in the minimum wage cannot touch anything.
