Oh yes, the jungle camp runs on RTL every year. The rowdy reality show is an absolute cult and will enter its 18th round in 2025. Season 1 (2004): Costa Cordalis – pop legend with heart

Pop icon Costa Cordalis (“Anita”) was crowned the first jungle king. Fun fact: His son Lucas took part in the show in 2023, unfortunately dad Costa was no longer able to see it: he died in 2019.

Season 2 (2004): Désirée Nick – Sharp-tongued diva

The bitter entertainer loves to provoke. This was also the case in the jungle camp, where she achieved an iconic victory. To this day she continues to cause scandal on reality TV; in 2020 she caused a violent bullying scandal among celebrities under palm trees.

Season 3 (2008): Ross Antony – Today he is a pop star

Ross Antony became known as the singer of the pop stars casting band Bro’Sis. Afterwards he made the TV world unsafe. Today he is a successful pop singer; The jungle victory didn’t hurt the image.

Season 4 (2009): Ingrid van Bergen – The scandalous Grande Dame

Acting diva Ingrid van Bergen became the oldest jungle queen ever at the age of 77. At that time she shocked people with her dark past: the grande dame of the film had shot her husband.

Season 7: (2013): Joey Heindle – Get to the top with clumsiness

Joey Heindle became famous on Deutschland sucht den Superstar, then he was allowed to go to the jungle camp. His clumsy manner was well received by the audience. In 2021 he surprised everyone with this step: Heindle trained as a paramedic and is now appearing on TV again.

Season 8 (2014): Melanie Müller – Scandal noodle is an understatement

Melanie Müller was already known as a breast miracle on The Bachelor. She also showed naked facts in the jungle camp. In the meantime, Müller’s TV career is being pursued by… overshadowed by violent scandals. There were repeated headlines that made clear Müller’s connection to the right-wing scene.

Season 9 (2015): Maren Gilzer – She was the wheel of fortune fairy

The former wheel of fortune fairy impressed with her positive nature in the jungle camp. After a long break, Gilzer is now starting out as an actress again: the early evening series Frieda – With Fire and Flame is scheduled to appear on Sat.1 this year.

Season 10 (2016): Menderes – Foreign shame is foreign to him

Season 11 (2017): Marc Terenzi – ex-boy band star

Former baby band star Marc Terenzi has been a solo musician since 2005, but he still made headlines, especially on TV. Recently there was sad news about the jungle star: In the summer of 2024 he was admitted to an addiction clinic. As BILD reports, Terenzi is supposed to rest in Mallorca.

Season 13 (2019): Evelyn Burdecki – Blonde audience favorite

Evelyn Burdecki was extremely well received by the TV audience. With her lovable nature, she sneaked straight into first place. Burdecki now works as an entrepreneur, TV star and influencer.

Season 14 (2020): Prince Damien – DSDS winner and jungle king

Prince Damien won DSDS in 2016, but after that he wasn’t granted a great TV career. In the jungle camp the singer was able to show that he is likeable and lovable; Nevertheless, the career as a reality star did not materialize. He now impresses as a musical actor.

Season 15 (2022): Filip Pavlović – Naive but lovable

Filip Pavlović has everything to be successful on reality TV: good looks, cheeky sayings and his heart in the right place. After he gained notoriety as a Casanova through his participation in dating shows, he then thrilled all of Germany as the king of the jungle.

Season 16 (2023): Djamila Rowe – Wonderfully open

Djamila Rowe stands out because of her appearance and thanks to her XXL lips she often gets the impression of being a superficial diva. In the jungle camp she was wonderfully approachable and thrilled the audience.

Season 17 (2024): Lucy Diakovska – Bright red skirt tube

Lucy Diakovska became famous with the No Angels. (Read what happened to the iconic pop band here.) Since then, the lively musician has been successfully making her way through the German media. In the jungle she showed iron will and her warm nature: she promptly had victory in her pocket.

Showdown of Jungle Legends (2024): Georgina Fleur – Reality Diva

In the very first Allstars relay, Georgina Fleur was able to claim victory. The rowdy reality diva prevailed against other jungle legends. When she’s not on reality TV, she enjoys her everyday mom life in Dubai.

The jungle camp 2025 starts soon

From January 24th at 8:15 p.m. the time has come. The jungle camp is starting its 18th season on RTL. This year the popular reality show can be seen in prime time for the first time.
