All dates of the limelight hours in March 2023
Spotlight Hour on March 7th
Which Pokemon? In the first limelight hour in March, the Pokémon Eevee from the first generation of the game awaits you. With development tricks for Eevee you can develop the Pokémon in a targeted manner. It forms the basis for many strong and cool attackers.
What bonuses do you get? For sending Pokemon you get twice the amount of Candy.
Who is it worth it for? Eevee is a popular Pokémon among Pokémon GO trainers. Mainly because it has such a variety of developments and shinys, it is well received in the community. Participating in the event is especially worthwhile if you are a collector. You’ll also need a lot of Eevee if you want to unlock level 42 in Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO: Which is the strongest Eevee development?
You can use the event to efficiently clean up your collection and get a lot of candies in return.
Can you catch Shiny Eevee? Yes, the shiny version of Eevee has been available in-game for a long time.
Spotlight Hour on March 14th
Which Pokemon? The second Spotlight Hour in March brings you the Pokémon Bauz from the seventh generation of games. It belongs to the Grass and Flying types and can evolve Arboretoss and Silvarro.
What bonuses do you get? For evolving Pokémon, you get double the amount of experience points.
Who is it worth it for? As an attacker, Bauz and its advancements are of little use. The highest development, Silvarro, plays in the lower midfield of the super and hyper leagues. So play the event mainly to evolve Pokémon and get XP for it.
Can you catch Shiny Bauz? No, the shiny version of Bauz isn’t available in Pokémon GO yet.
Spotlight Hour on March 21st
Which Pokemon? At the third spotlight hour in March 2023, the Pokémon Flamion from the seventh generation awaits you. It is of the Fire type and can evolve into Kitty and Fuegro.
What bonuses do you get? You get double Stardust for catching Pokémon.
Who is it worth it for? Flamiau is not strong as an attacker. Just as little as his development Miezunder. The last evolution, Fuegro, can earn some points in PvP. In the super league it plays in the lower midfield and in the hyper league in the upper midfield. In the master league, however, it is almost irrelevant.
However, the stardust bonus is very popular. It’s worth participating for that alone if you still want to fill up your resources.
Can you catch Shiny Flamiau? No, the shiny version of Flamieau has not yet been released in Pokémon GO.
Spotlight Hour on March 28th
Which Pokemon? In the last limelight hour in March 2023 you can expect the Pokémon Robball from the seventh generation of the game. It is of the Water type and can evolve into Marikeck and Primarina.
What bonuses do you get? You get twice the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon.
Who is it worth it for? As an attacker, you can ignore Robball and Marikeck. Primarene plays in the lower midfield in the super and hyper leagues, and even makes it into the upper midfield in the master league. The Pokémon are not useful in raids, as there are much stronger alternatives.
Can you catch Shiny Robball? No, the shiny version of Robball has not yet been unlocked in Pokémon GO.
