After the horror hit X and the Netflix hit Wednesday, she can now be seen in cinemas with Scream VI, whose successor Scream 7 may not be long in coming given the cinema numbers so far. According to IMDb, there are five officially announced films starring Ortega in production so far, which could soon be joined by Scream 7.

  • finest child: Thriller starring Tommy Lee Jones and Ben Foster as brothers getting involved with a crime syndicate in Boston. Directed by Brian Helgeland (A Knight’s Tale).

  • Miller’s Girl: The comedy drama, starring Martin Freeman, follows a teacher and student whose relationship is strengthened through a creative writing assignment.
  • Project by Trey Edward Shults: There is hardly any information about the It Comes at Night director’s project. The idea came about in cooperation with the music star The Weeknd.
  • Beetlejuice 2: According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel to Tim Burton’s fantasy classic Beetlejuice will soon be filmed in London. Ortega reportedly plays the daughter of Winona Ryder’s Part 1 character.
  • When are Jenna Ortega’s next projects coming up including Wednesday Season 2?

    There is currently no official release date for any of the films. According to IMDb, Winter Spring Summer Or Fall, Finestkind and Miller’s Girl are in post-production and could theoretically be released in 2023. Beetlejuice 2 and the Shults Project will be at the earliest, as will Wednesday Season 2 and Scream 7 2024 come.

    With so many projects, one wonders when Ortega actually sleeps. According to his own statement she’s more in the mood for movies than Wednesday season 2. But the Netflix hit is her undoing.
