What are spotlight hours? Spotlight Hour runs every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Pokémon GO. During those 60 minutes, one Pokémon is the focus and will spawn almost anywhere in the wild. As a rule, at the beginning of a month, Niantic announces which Pokémon will be the focus of events in the coming month.

Spotlight Hour on September 6th Which Pokemon?

Somniam takes center stage in September’s first Spotlight session. The Pokémon comes from the 5th generation of the game and belongs to the Psychic type. Its evolution is Somnivora, which also belongs to the Psycho type. What bonuses do you get?

You get double Stardust for catching Pokémon. Who is it worth it for?

Neither Somniam nor its evolution Somnivora are important for raids or trainer battles. So use the event for your chance for shinys and to exploit the stardust bonus. Can you catch Shiny Somniam?

Spotlight Hour on September 13th Which Pokemon?

Trasla comes from the 3rd generation of the game and belongs to the types Psycho and Fee. It can evolve into Kirlia, which in turn can evolve into Gardevoir or Galagladi. What bonuses do you get?

You get twice the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon. Who is it worth it for?

Gardevoir is a very important attacker in raids and is in our top 20 in many counter guide articles. Catching strong specimens of Trasla can therefore be worthwhile for you if you like to raid. Gardevoir plays in midfield in trainer battles. Galagladi performs slightly better in trainer battles and may be of interest to you if you play PvP. Can you catch Shiny Trasla?

Spotlight Hour on September 20th Which Pokemon?

Stollunior belongs to the Steel and Rock types and comes from the 3rd generation of the game. Its advancements are Stollrak and Aggron. What bonuses do you get?

For catching Pokemon, you get twice the amount of Candy. Who is it worth it for?

Stollunior plays no role in trainer battles and raids. Stollrak is in the lower midfield of the attacker rankings in the Superliga. Stolloss can be found in the lower midfield of the Superliga and the Hyperliga. As a raid attacker, he is a very weak tail light. Can you catch Shiny Stollunior?

Spotlight Hour on September 27th Which Pokemon?

Picochilla is from the 5th generation of the game and belongs to the Normal type. Its further development is Chillabell. What bonuses do you get?

For sending Pokemon, you get double the amount of candy. Who is it worth it for?

Neither Picochilla nor Chillabell are suitable as attackers in raids or in trainer battles. So use your chance to tidy up your collection and take the candy bonus with you or challenge the small chance of a shiny. Can you catch Shiny Picochilla?
