Spotlight Hour on July 4th Which Pokemon?

At the first Spotlight Hour in July, you’ll meet the fifth-generation Pokémon Geronimatz. It can evolve into Washakwil. Both belong to the Normal and Flight types. What bonuses are active?

For catching Pokémon, you get double the amount of Stardust. Who is it worth it for?

Neither Geronimatz nor Washakwil are particularly strong attackers. After all, Washakwil can still reach the lower midfield of the super and hyper leagues in PvP. But there are many stronger alternatives.

Above all, the event is worthwhile for the stardust bonus. Can you catch Shiny Geronimatz?

Yes, the dazzling form of Geronimatz is already available in Pokémon GO. With luck you can find and catch it.

Spotlight Hour on July 11th Which Pokemon?

During the second Spotlight Hour in July, you’ll meet the third-generation Pokémon Wailmer. Its evolution is Wailord. Both are of the water type. What bonuses are active?

You get twice the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon. Who is it worth it for?

Neither Wailmer nor Wailord are strong attackers in Pokémon GO. You can ignore them both for fights. However, Wailmer has a relatively large catching circle when catching, which is why it is easy to land fabulous throws. Use the spotlight hour to farm lots of XP. Can you catch Shiny Wailmer?

Yes, the shiny version of Wailmer is already active in Pokémon GO and you can catch it.

Spotlight Hour on July 18th Which Pokemon?

At the third Spotlight Hour in July, you’ll meet the first-generation Pokémon Rihorn. It can evolve into Rizeros and Rihornior. All three belong to the rock and soil types respectively. What bonuses are active?

For catching Pokemon, you get twice the amount of Candy. Who is it worth it for?

This spotlight hour should be a must for many, because Rhyperior is a powerful Pokémon. As a ground attacker, it is at the forefront with a combination of clay shackles and earthquakes. Yes, the dazzling version of Rihorn can already be found in Pokémon GO. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch it during Spotlight Hour.

In the last spotlight hour in July 2023 you will meet the Pokémon Mangunior. It is from the seventh generation of the game and can evolve into Manguspektor. Both are of the Normal type. What bonuses are active?

Neither Mangunior nor Manguspector are strong attackers. They are unimportant for your fights. Use the spotlight hour to tidy up your collection and earn lots of candy for shipping. Can you catch Shiny Mangunior?

Yes, the dazzling form of Mangunior is already active in Pokémon GO and with luck you can catch it. However, keep in mind that Shiny chances are not increased during Spotlight hours.
