Before this election, the electoral districts in Olofström have been redrawn and the polling stations replaced. The fact that the polling stations have been replaced is due to new rules, which both deal with greater requirements for privacy and that there should be no political or religious affiliation.
One example is that Folkets hus is replaced by Dannfältshallen.
– Two parties have party premises in Folkets hus, so the electoral committee decided to replace it, says Anna-Karin Johansen, who is responsible for elections in Olofström.
In some cases, for example at Brännaregårdsskolan in Olofström, it is about the polling station being moved from the dining hall to the gymnasium. In other cases, for example in Jämshög, the polling station has been moved from the school to the citizens’ house.
