Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket regularly features new expansions and events where collectors receive new cards. You can find out what these will be in the coming period and what leaks there will be in the following roadmap.

Ever since Pokémon TCG Pocket came out, the game hasn’t been short on events. There are PvP events in which you fight against other trainers and also PvE events in which you have to prove your strength against the CPU. There are also miracle choice events where you can get new cards even without fighting.

The Pokémon TCG Pocket roadmap shows you which events and updates are coming up in the coming period.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Roadmap – All important dates at a glance

You can look forward to the following events and updates in TCG Pocket. If there is already a specific date or period as well as more detailed information about the content and rewards, we have noted this for you.

Current booster expansion: Unbeatable Genes A1

  • Period: October 30, 2024 to April 30, 2025

    • There are currently 3 different boosters in the Unbeatable Genes set. Players can collect 226 cards included in Charizard, Mewtwo and Pikachu boosters.

    Current event: PvE event with Bisaflor-ex

  • Period: November 29, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to December 13, 2024, 6:59 a.m

    • In the current PvE event, Bisaflor-ex is in the foreground. Here you can prove your strength against decks based around Venusaur and receive pack hourglasses, sparkle dust, shop tickets, experience points and promo cards. Further information about the event can be found here.

    Miracle Choice Event with Bulbasaur and Magnetilo

  • Period: December 6, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to December 20, 6:59 a.m

    • The next Miracle Choice event will focus on two Pokémon from the 1st generation, Bulbasaur and Magnetilo. There are two new cards: a Bulbasaur, which has 70 HP and can use Vine Slash for 40 damage, and a Magnetilo, which has 60 HP and can use Ball Lightning for 20 damage.

    The miracle choice itself should cost 2 miracle stamina. It has a 2.5% chance of appearing after Miracle Choice is updated. After it appears, it should disappear after 30 minutes to 4 hours.

    Emblem Event 2 Unbeatable Genes

  • Period: December 9, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to December 16, 6:59 a.m

    • There will also be a new PvP event in December. Here players can earn new emblems by winning multiple duels in a row against other players:

    Pack Hourglasses and Sparkle Dust are rewarded when you participate in battles and win.

    New booster packs for Unbeatable Genes A1

  • Period: December 17, 2024 to April 30, 2025

    • The booster set Mini-Set A1A is scheduled to bring 76 more cards into play in mid-December. Nothing is known about the motives yet.

    New booster expansion Unbeatable Genes A2

  • Period: January 30, 2025 to July 30, 2025

    • After Unbeatable Genes, Pokémon TCG Pocket will probably get another set with 3 different boosters in January 2025. With the new booster expansion, 286 new cards will come into play. There should be a new rarity here, which is marked with a symbol in rainbow colors.

    The expansion should bring unique animations and effects. There will then be a total of 97 visual effects that players can unlock with sparkle dust. There will also be new gift boxes that can be received as rewards for events, as well as seasonal rewards and exclusive items.

    Exchange function

    It is currently not possible to trade your cards with your friends. This should change in January 2025, because then the exchange function in the game should be activated.

    The developers plan to unlock the function piece by piece. This will ensure that only certain cards can be traded at the beginning and the selection of these cards will increase over time.

    A specific date for this feature is not yet known.
