Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 invites you to the beta in August and September. We’ll show you when it starts and how to take part.

The beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner and offers you the opportunity to take a first look at this year’s CoD offshoot.

Unlike in previous years, PlayStation players will not receive early access to the beta; all platforms will launch at the same time.

Black Ops 6 Beta Release: Start and Preload – When does it start?

When is the beta? The Black Ops 6 beta is divided into two weekends. There is the open beta and the early access beta, which only those who pre-order can play:

Here you can see the starting pages of the two beta weekends:

  • Pre-order beta: August 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to September 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Open Beta: September 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to September 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

    • Is there a preload? Yes, the preload has been available since August 28th.

    Black Ops 6 Beta in Game Pass

    How can you play the beta via Game Pass? You can play the Black Ops 6 beta via Game Pass if you have one of the following subscriptions:

  • Game Pass Console – €9.99 per month
  • Game Pass PC – €11.99 per month
  • Game Pass Ultimate – €17.99 per month

    • If you have a corresponding subscription, you can simply download the beta and play. No code is required for activation.

    Black Ops 6 Beta Code

    Do you need a code to play the pre-order beta? No, unless you pre-ordered the physical edition of Black Ops 6.

  • Those who pre-order the digital editions can simply download and play Black Ops 6. No code is required.
  • Game Pass subscribers also don’t need a code
  • Those who pre-order a physical edition will need a code to register for the Black Ops 6 beta. You will probably find the code on your retailer’s receipt.

    • Shortly before the start of the beta, Activision also released a new trailer for the multiplayer of Black Ops 6.
