Monster Hunter Wilds has changed the structure of the world to previous parts. Now, in addition to the base camp, there are also various field camps that you can set up to recover on your trips in the areas. What is a base camp? There is a base camp in every area (and a village). This is the big hub in which you can not only accept quests and adapt your equipment. There you also have:

  • The blacksmith with Schmiedin Gemma
  • The supply camp
  • Your tent in which you can adjust equipment and objects
  • Different NPCs, depending on where you are
  • A kitchen where you get rations regularly
  • Nata, which brings together different NPC functions such as material procurement and bartering
  • Alma, in which you can accept quests and answer emergency signals
  • Occasionally, a dealer also appears where you can buy valuable items and weapons for guild points
  • Field storage miaster or the logistics counter in which you can build, repair and adapt

    What is a field camp? The base camps are firmly in every area and you cannot move them. In addition, however, there are the field camps, which you can place and use in certain places. With the field camp miaster in the base bearings, you can build out the field camp at specified points if you have found the right place on the map. With the warehouse set you can build warehouse while traveling.

    The field camps have the following functions:

  • A tent in which you can adjust equipment and objects
  • Since Alma also follows you in DN, you can also accept quests here
  • You can return to field camps according to fainting
  • You can use field camps as quick travel goals
  • The different places have hazard levels that indicate how high the probability is that a warehouse will be destroyed by a monster. If it is destroyed, you either have to wait for a certain time or have the warehouse repaired directly with a guild points with a field camp miaster.

    You can set up up to 5 camps in each area, except in Wyveria, there are only 4.

    What can you do with the field camp? In addition to setting up, you can also visually adjust the field warehouse. There is also the possibility to adapt the tent yourself:
