Samsung Electronics, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo announced at the IFA Fair that it has introduced its model to the European market. The all-in-one washing and drying machine, which was introduced last year, offers space-saving washing and drying functions in a single device.
The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo features artificial intelligence, heat pump technology, and a 7-inch display. One of the most important features of the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is AI Wash & Dry This advanced system uses a range of sensors to optimise both washing and drying across all loads. After detecting the weight of the laundry, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo uses the correct amount of water and detergent to detect the fabric type and monitor the level of dirt during the wash cycle, adjusting the cycle time and detergent use accordingly. Once the wash cycle is complete, the technology optimises the drying process according to weight and fabric.
Another advantage that the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo brings to the European market is its energy efficiency. With wash cycles up to 20 percent more efficient than the average Class A energy efficiency rating, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo’s wash and dry cycles are rated Class A in energy efficiency. Unlike systems that use heaters to blow hot air into the drum, Samsung’s heat pump system continuously recycles hot air and optimizes heat transfer by reheating and dehumidifying the hot air through a heat exchanger. This reduces drying times by up to 60 percent and energy consumption by up to 75 percent, making the energy used in the laundry process efficient and cost-effective.
