Today is the first day of the worldwide GO Fest 2023 in Pokémon GO. We show you what you can expect on Saturday.

When does the GO Fest 2023 start? Day 1 of the global GO Fest starts at 10:00 a.m. local time on August 26, 2023 and runs until 6:00 p.m.

Throughout the day there will be rotating habitats with different spawns that bring changing challenges and bonuses.

How can I participate? Basically, there is some content of the event without a ticket, spread over the weekend. Alternatively, you can buy a ticket for around 15 euros in the shop, which brings additional bonuses.

What’s coming up on Saturday at the GO Fest 2023?

Special research with Diancie: If you have bought a ticket, you will receive the special research with Diancie from the start of the event. This brings you various bonuses if you complete a total of 6 research steps.

showcases: You can also turn in Pokémon in Showcases on Saturday to get rewards. Pikachu and Viscora are the competitive Pokémon.

Habitats and Spawns: Every hour during the event you will find a different habitat, i.e. a Pokémon habitat, in the game. It brings different Pokémon and always a different bonus.

Sometimes there is extra XP, sometimes stardust and the like. In order to get the bonus, however, a global challenge must first be solved.

The habitats at a glance:

  • 10:00 – 11:00: Habitat Quartz Terrarium
  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Habitat pyrite sands
  • 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: Habitat Malachite Wilderness
  • 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Habitat Aquamarine Coast
  • 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Habitat quartz terrarium
  • 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Habitat pyrite sands
  • 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Habitat Malachite Wilderness
  • 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM: Habitat Aquamarine Coast

    Global Challenge at GO Fest 2023: Every hour all trainers in the world have to face a different challenge. Once this is done, the hourly bonus will be unlocked.

    However, the tasks are also important for the so-called hyper bonus: This is activated when all tasks have been completed. A special event beckons as a reward.

    There are also a total of 11 new shiny monsters in GO Fest 2023. This includes Viscora, which you can find in the Aquamarine Coast habitat.

    M-shaped Unown is also available as a Shiny at the weekend, but only if you have bought a ticket.
