Ghostface is one of the most iconic horror characters of all time. Almost every horror fan knows him and the Scream films. Over time, the villain has received 6 films and a series. MeinMMO lists which film is actually the best for the horror genre.
What is Scream? Scream is a horror series that was started in 1996 by director Wes Craven, who also happens to be responsible for Nightmare on Elm Street. Even in the first film, Scream was a commentary on classic horror tropes and the series has maintained that to this day.

Scream 4 was released 11 years after the first trilogy and basically starts there. 10 years after the traumatic events, Sidney Prescott is an author who has written a self-help book based on her experience. She returns to her old hometown of Woodsboro for the promo. She also meets her cousin Jill there. As luck would have it, there is a new Ghostface who threatens the family.
Scream 4 tries to find a (at the time) modern approach to its characters. It is based heavily on the first part and the classic “film bros”, who resort to violence again here. Unfortunately, the film fails to replicate the fun reveals of the other installments, resulting in a fairly generic slasher.
