Indiana Jones is a popular and durable series that has produced five films so far. But which one is the best? We clarify this question in our ranking.
Indiana Jones is a film series that was launched in 1981 by director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas. So far, the franchise has produced five movies. In our ranking we want to clarify how they cut off against each other and which is the best Indy film.
We focus exclusively on Dr. Jones and his companions. The television series, books or comics don’t matter here. Also note that the list is purely subjective and is based on the author’s opinion. If your personal ranking deviates from it, you are welcome to tell us in the comments.

The fourth part came to cinemas after a long break in 2008. Directed by Steven Spielberg again, but there was not much left of the magic of the first three films. The story no longer plays before World War II, but in the Cold War. Accordingly, Indy merges with the Russian adversaries.
This film is particularly about that Indy meets his son. However, if you compare the relationship between father and son with that from the 3rd part, the 4th film cannot keep up. Some strange absurd scenes (the atomic explosion where Indy survives in the fridge!), Coupled with weak visual effects, make the kingdom of the crystal skull one of the worse offshoots in the series.
On the other hand, the work of director Spielberg is as usual confidently, albeit not as innovative as in the predecessors.
