All 30 year old women should do this to age well later

The thirties mark a turning point in a woman’s life.

To age well and stay in good health for as long as possible, there are things to anticipate from the age of 30, a pivotal age for women. The thirties mark a turning point: the body’s metabolism slows down, weight gain is possible as well as a drop in muscle tone. Whether we like it or not, our body is a living matter that forms, deforms and reforms throughout life. “As the mind has plasticity, the body has its plasticity too, so it is possible to “correct the situation” at 30 and adopt the right behaviors” explains Evelyne Rosalie, body psychotherapist and art therapist.

The key word is to reconnect with your body. We need to get moving again by finding the physical activity that gives us pleasure. “Nothing violent or high-performance, just something gentle and progressive where you have to breathe, hold yourself well, stretch and work on body stability. The idea is not to dominate your body, but to reclaim it, through movement, breathing, posture..” This can be stretching, dancing, yoga, “body balance”, tai chi, movements in water… It is also important to plan “cardio” sessions: brisk walking, running on foot, by bike, HIIT… for 2-3 sessions of at least 20 minutes per week.

It can also be good to work on your relationship with the body through introspection. “Understand your sensations, your emotions, their impact on the body, why there are things we like less about ourselves, why we cannot maintain a balanced diet or a sports routine, why we eat too much or we overindulge, why do we feel so stressed” lists our expert. Psycho-corporeal therapy can be a good solution. This method considers the body and its language as a gateway to well-being in order to soothe the ailments of the mind and release the most buried traumas “This is the key to aging well and feeling serene in your body.” according to the therapist. This type of therapy can be carried out with a psychologist or psychotherapist.

Finally, we pamper our sleep and our diet. We sleep at least 7.5-8 hours per night, we go to bed at regular times, we eat healthily with a good intake of fiber, protein and omega-3, as much as possible “homemade”, with raw, seasonal and local. Without forgetting to have regular medical appointments: at least one visit per year to the dentist, gynecologist, dermatologist, general practitioner and ophthalmologist every 2-3 years if eyesight is good.
