Alex Norén had a strong fourth round and finished third in the PGA Tour event in Las Vegas.
The Swedish golfer Alex Norén accounted for seven birdies and one bogey and landed in 65 strokes, which meant he climbed eight places in the final round. In total, there were 266 strokes for all four rounds, two more than the winner Tom Kim from South Korea.
Åberg climbed
Also Ludvig Åberg made a strong effort in the final round, climbing 29 places to a shared thirteenth place. The worse things went for Henrik Norlanderwhich dropped eleven places to finish tied for 35th.

This year’s edition of the tournament in Las Vegas attracted a lot of attention because the American Lexi Thompson participated, as just the seventh woman in history to play on the PGA Tour. But she did not pass the qualification limit to advance after initial rounds.
Annika Sorenstam was in 2003 the first female player since 1945 to play PGA competition with the men.
