The now ex-host intends to try new adventures, especially on the side of comedy. It was also during the filming of the TV movie Handi Gang, broadcast on TF1 this Monday, May 2, 2022, that Sublet became aware of this new desire. “During my first scene, I had the feeling of having to start from scratch” she announces in the columns of Figaro TV Mag. “I like it, it’s a bit like the story of my life. It’s been a long time since I had the feeling of succeeding in taking up a new challenge. I lived it in my profession for twenty years but less now. I found that with comedy, where there is a hundred times more adrenaline…” Of which, Alessandra Sublet drops her cap as a host that she had had for almost twenty years on television.
“When I make a choice, it’s because it’s been carefully considered. No argument could make me change my mind,” she told Le Parisien in April. This decision also started from an observation: “This new challenge made me vibrate. Then, I wondered if I still felt as much pleasure on a TV set. At 45, I cannot continue the animation if my heart beats less strongly. I prefer to take a real risk to try different projects.” However, it will have been necessary to overcome a certain syndrome of the impostor. “I had a problem of legitimacy” she confirmed to TV Mag. “But my daughter was like ‘what do you have to lose?’ And I surprised myself.”
From now on, Alessandra Sublet intends to continue the exploration of her new, that of actress. She will also continue to work as a producer. His next project?
