Aleppo province rocked by wave of anti Turkey protests

A wave of anti-Turkey protests rocked northern Aleppo province, controlled by the Turkish army and its Syrian proxies, on Monday. Several protesters were injured in armed clashes with militias supporting Turkish troops, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Protesters occupied the Bab el-Salama crossing point on the Syrian-Turkish border and removed the Turkish flag.

The same scene occurred in other localities, including areas controlled by jihadists, where angry crowds tore down Turkish flags and chanted slogans hostile to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
