What were the plans again?
The municipality wants to introduce permit parking in phases in the city until 2030, with the exception of the Northern neighborhoods. The use of shared mobility, bicycles and public transport is encouraged. Parking hubs will be created around the neighborhoods for the second and third cars. Over time it will become more difficult to obtain a second or third permit.
The space this frees up can be used for, among other things, more greenery and housing construction.
