In Sungur’s eyes, the alderman also made a mistake in another area. Before the summer, he had asked the alderman for information. The DENK leader wanted to see documents and correspondence. He sent that request to the alderman, but only received a response two months later. Sungur is annoyed that documents that were immediately available were also kept under wraps by the alderman. He suspects intent on the part of the alderman, and showed an email as proof, in which an official responds to Sungur’s request. He writes: “We are not going to do the requested speed (…)”. The council member only received the documents a few days before the debate, at the very last moment that was possible.
