The return of the experienced Reijn as alderman is remarkable. In November he announced that he thought it was time to clear his agenda. He said there was no second term. But Reijn has nevertheless given in to requests to stay, he now tells RTV Utrecht. “I have promised to stay in principle for another two years. That could be longer, or shorter.” Reijn is responsible for a “limited package” as he calls it: spatial planning and a number of projects he has already led.
