Timrå’s Albin Lundin was suspended for three games for running into a linesman. Now he is exonerated by the National Sports Board.
The situation in the SHL match between Örebro and Timrå was discussed. According to the report, the linesman was hit from behind by Albin Lundin. The punishment from the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation’s disciplinary committee was a three-match suspension and a 10,000 kroner fine for “physical abuse of officials”.

Timrå writes on social media that after the appeal, the National Sports Board follows Timrå’s line and acquits Albin Lundin. The 27-year-old managed to be suspended for one match but is thus available for Thursday night’s match against Malmö.
After ten games played, Timrå is seventh in the SHL table. Albin Lundin has played nine games and scored two points this season.
