Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama announced on Saturday that access to the platform will be closed to all Albanian residents for at least a year. The Tiktok ban will take effect from the beginning of 2025.
Rama said that Albania plans to closely monitor the reactions of Tiktok and other countries to its decision.
