Expect unstable weather
The rain area is moving east over the southern and central parts of the country. In the afternoon, the rains will focus on the eastern parts of the country. Especially in the direction of Kainuu and Northeast, the rain comes mainly as snow, further south as water. More than 10 centimeters of snow can accumulate in places. In the western part of the country, the cloud cover will tear in places in the afternoon. It is mostly cloudy in Lapland and isolated snow showers or freezing drizzle are possible. The temperature during the day is between a couple of degrees below zero in Lapland and almost +10 degrees in the south.
