The alarm about the release came at 12.30 on Saturday and it is about a chemical release at HEMAB’s cogeneration plant in Härnösand.
– The discharge is from a container at the combined heat and power plant. The rescue service is on site with several units and will now try to collect the liquid that has now ended up in an embankment, says Lars Krantz, internal commander at the rescue service.
The leak itself has now been fixed.
