Alarm about explosion in Sundbyberg

“We are on site to find out what has happened and we are cooperating with the emergency services and ambulance personnel on site,” says police spokesperson Towe Hägg.

There is no information about injured persons in connection with the detonation. The damage to the gate is “minor”, according to the police’s initial information.

Several people called in and alerted the police about the loud bang at 11.15pm on Saturday night. A preliminary investigation into public-dangerous devastation has been initiated.

Police have carried out door-knocking in the area and the national bomb squad will investigate the scene during the night.
