According to Dagens Nyheter, it concerns a school on Ljusterö northeast of Stockholm.
The police received a call just after 07:00 in the morning that a man holding an ax and a rake had been seen outside the school. The man is said to have then disappeared.
– We don’t know much more than that, but we are on our way to the location, says Anna Westberg, press spokesperson at police region Stockholm.
According to her, the students are not accommodated in the school but guardians have been asked to be alert.
– We do not see him as a direct danger, it is of course worrying, but he has not been directly confrontational, says the school’s principal to Aftonbladet.
