The emergency services have been alerted to an explosion and a fire in an apartment building in Fittja, south of Stockholm.
– According to callers, there has been some kind of explosion and then there is a fire in an apartment, says Patrik Johansson, commander at Södertörn’s fire protection association.
The rescue service currently has around 15 units on site.
– There is a heavy fire in an apartment on the second floor.
One person is injured, the police write on their website, and according to SOS Alarm, several ambulances have been sent to the apartment building.
The police have opened a criminal investigation into arson.
