Alan Wake 2 Expansions: Night Springs and The Lake House
Remedy Entertainment attracted attention with the changes it made on its social media accounts. The company changed its username on Twitter to Poison Pill Entertainment and reflected this change in the title and profile picture. These changes are almost certainly related to the Alan Wake series. Remedy made this connection clear by sharing a tweet tagging the series’ Twitter page and mentioning Night Springs in the Poison Pill Entertainment logo.
Producer and host of Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley, hinted that an announcement would be made at the event on June 7 and sparked curiosity by tagging Remedy. It’s an exciting time to learn more about Alan Wake 2’s expansions.
According to statements made last year, Alan Wake 2’s expansions will be called Night Springs and The Lake House. Night Springs will allow players to play as a variety of characters in “standalone episodes of Night Springs, a fictional TV show set in the world of Alan Wake.” The Lake House, on the other hand, will focus on a mysterious facility on the shores of Lake Cauldron.
Both expansions are expected to be released in 2024, so it’s possible they’ll be announced at Summer Game Fest. Remedy Entertainment announced that Alan Wake 2 will also offer a free photo mode in the spring of 2024, and more details are expected to be announced soon.
