Allan RuizArgentinian striker for Arouca, scored against Vizela his first goal of the course in the Portuguese league in a game in which his team approached the relegation places after losing 2-1. Until now, Alan Ruiz had not had much luck in his second Portuguese adventure (in the 2016/17 season he played for Sporting).
After signing in January from Arsenal de Sarandí, he was injured and missed what would have been his first two league games, against Famalicao and Porto. Later, until this Friday, he only started one game, against Marítimo, in which his team lost 0-3 and in which he was substituted at half-time.
In the following nine games, he barely participated in 131 minutes and, against Vizela, he finally returned to the starting eleven for coach Armando Evangelista. With 1-0 against, and four minutes after the restart, Alan Ruiz established the tie with an impressive left-footed shot from a direct free kick with which he gave his team hope.
However, the Brazilian Guilherme Schettineat minute 72, celebrated his second goal to leave Arouca just one point above Moreinensewhich, with one game in hand, would be the last club to lose the category if the season ended right now.
