Heroes like steam rollers are booming. At least with Amazon Prime Video, where the HIT series REACHER will continue with season 3 in a few days: Am February 20th Start the new episodes in which Alan Ritchson’s giant ex-soldier meets an old arch enemy. As the star now revealed, the preparation for the shoot was surprisingly painful: a fight with his colleague Olivier Richter’s catapulted him across the room.

In season 3, Reacher enables himself to the shady organization of the carpet dealer Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall). He meets his old known Quinn (Brian Tea), where he wants to take revenge for a cruel murder. And in Beck’s Bodyguard Paulie (Richter) an opponent whose body himself puts his in the shade.

It doesn’t take long for the two giants to clash. As Ritchson recently revealed TV Line, the training for the scene was already hurt:
I am happy when I [diese Erfahrung] never have to repeat. It was brutal. [Vor dem Training sagte mir ein Stuntman]: “I know that you are asking people to do the right thing. Don’t do that with him.”
Ritchson apparently did not meet the advice, as he reports:
So we start. I don’t tell him that he should hit me properly. But I also don’t tell him that he has to hold back. [Er schlug mich] and I landed 5 meters further on a mat. [In einer Szene] He takes me up and throws me against walls and bars and things like that. That hurt. It hurt to be thrown around by this guy because it was so strong.
