(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Alan Joyce is stepping down as Qantas chief executive sooner than expectedrole held for 15 years. The farewell will take place two months in advance and follows the controversy related to the sale of tickets that would have been sold on previously canceled flights and which has undermined the reputation of the airline.
Joyce made it known that on Wednesday 6 September will pass the follows on to Vanessa Hudsonwho will succeed him in control of Qantas, which was sued a week ago by the Australian consumer regulator both in relation to the alleged sale of tickets for 8,000 already canceled flights and the failure to inform passengers about the rescheduling of 10,000 you fly.
