Thousands of people remain trapped on Tuesday at the site of Gaza’s main hospital, amid fighting between Hamas and the Israeli army. For days, clashes between Hamas fighters and Israeli soldiers have been concentrated around the al-Chifa complex, suspected by the army of housing Hamas strategic infrastructure. “I hope and expect less intrusive actions regarding the hospital” al-Chifa, President Joe Biden said at the White House.
