The brawl within the Swedish Democrats continues.
Jimmie Åkesson now strikes back against party mates who have criticized the party leadership’s decision to agree to stricter gun laws.
– I have been disappointed this past week at how some members have acted in public, says Jimmie Åkesson.
Åkesson goes on to say that the criticism is normally presented internally and tries to gain support for it internally.
– I do not think it is a good way to go out in media or social media and question something that we have agreed with the government.
Yesterday, SD summit Richard Jomshof left his position as chairman of the Justice Committee.
When asked if Åkesson is disappointed at Richard Jomshof, the party leader replies that this is the case, but that more people have met.
– Richard Jomshof and other members of the Justice Committee who may have acted so, yes.
