Timber, who started playing football at DVSU in Utrecht, has played in Ajax’s youth academy since 2014. Six years later, he made his debut in the first team. The Orange-international played 121 official matches for the team from Amsterdam and scored six goals. With Ajax, Timber became national champion twice, in 2021 and 2022. In 2021 he also won the KNVB Cup with the club. Timber participated in the World Cup in Qatar with the Dutch national team and is currently on fifteen international matches.
